TERMS OF USE FOR PRIVATE EVENTS

 

Thank you choosing The Moving Canvas for your event. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of The Moving Canvas’ services for At-Home paint pARTies, as well as the use of The Moving Canvas’ Services by all Event Attendees, including all features of The Moving Canvas’ website, user experience, all content associated there with, and your Event (collectively “The Moving Canvas”).  By using, visiting, or browsing the The Moving Canvas, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms.

  

II. HOW THE MOVING CANVAS PAINT PARTY SERVICE WORKS

The Moving Canvas is an entertainment service that will provide you with an experience of painting instruction at the venue of your choice.  
The Moving Canvas reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to make changes from time to time and without notice in how The Moving Canvas operates the Service.  

Materials Provided.  The Moving Canvas will provide all paints, canvases, brushes, pallets, easels, and aprons (“Supplies”) necessary to accommodate the number of Event Attendees that you have selected. To the extent there will be in excess of ten Event Attendees, you must inform The Moving Canvas of the number of additional Event Attendees at least forty-eight hours in advance of the Event, in order to allow for the proper number/amount of supplies to be at the Event.

While The Moving Canvas maintains quality control over the materials it uses, the quality of the paint, canvasses, brushes, pallets, easels, aprons and artist may vary from event to event, and venue to venue, and may be affected by a variety of factors. The Moving Canvas does not provide tables and chairs for events.

 

End result.  The Moving Canvas makes no representations or warranties about the quality of the painting of Event Attendees or the individual experiences of Event Attendees.  Every painting will be unique and ‘your own’, therefore, there is no reason to believe that your work will be an exact duplicate of the one you choose to do, The Moving Canvas will make every effort to begin the instruction at the designated start time and complete the instruction between 2-3 hours.  However, the time it takes to begin and complete the instruction will vary based on a number of factors, and The Moving Canvas makes no representation as to the exact amount of instruction time at the Event.  

Capacity Limitations.  The venue of your choice may have capacity limitations for your event.  The Moving Canvas will confirm that the venue you choose has capacity for the number of guests you originally schedule for your event.  You must provide a final headcount to The Moving Canvas at least 48 hours prior to your Event. The Moving Canvas will arrive at the venue 30 minutes prior to the start of the Event to set up.  

 

Pets.  The Moving Canvas will not provide services with pets (i.e. dogs, cats, etc.) in the house. Please make necessary accommodations prior to your event.

 

 II. BILLING

The Moving Canvas’ Event fee is $40 per person (with a minimum of 6 people). Additional charges may apply outside of Davidson County. To book an Event, there will be at least 50% deposit required to secure your date. The Moving Canvas will set up a payment link where you can submit payment via credit card, PayPal, or cash app.  Your payment is refundable (as a credit towards a future event) if you cancel more than 30 days before the Event, but in such case you may only reschedule your Event once.  Payment is not refundable if your Event is cancelled within 30 days of the Event.  

III. RIGHT TO TERMINATE

END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT:

BY USING THE MOVING CANVAS SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE (1) TO THE MOVING CANVAS MOBILE PAINT PARTY END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOUND HERE AS SUCH MAY BE AMENDED OR ADDED TO FROM TIME TO TIME AND (2) TO RECEIVE, WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE OR PROMPTING,UPDATED VERSIONS OF THE MOVING CANVAS MOBILE PAINT PARTY AND RELATED THIRD-PARTY. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THE FOREGOING TERMS, DO NOT USE OUR SERVICE.  
We do not warrant that any of the events or materials used in connection with our service nor do we warrant that operation of our service.

 

 

IV. SOCIAL MEDIA

You can connect The Moving Canvas to your Facebook or other social media accounts.   If you choose to connect your account with any Social Media Accounts, you will be able to take advantage of various social features The Moving Canvas may already have, or will be creating, as part of The Moving Canvas Service, as well as features available on Facebook.  These features will be designed to share information with others - the essence of social media.  These terms and conditions can also be found at www.art-by-rhonda.com.  Please sign below and date, and I will collect prior to services.
